ACT RESIDUAL TESTING FAQs
ACT Residual testing is a service for students who were unable to take the ACT exam on the national test dates. The ACT exam is a national college admission examination that consists of subject area tests in English, mathematics, reading, and science.
Who is eligible to take the ACT Residual?
The ACT Residual is for students who wish to attend ONLY Marian University and are: desiring enrollment, in the process of applying, or have been accepted.
Can I use the Residual ACT Scores at another university?
Test scores cannot be sent to any other college/university or your high school. Students may not repeat residual testing until 60 days have passed since their previous testing. Your test scores will not be valid if you have taken the ACT within the last 60 days.
When can the ACT Residual be scheduled?
Appointments are made on an individual basis and are administered by the CASE Office. Please contact Gigi Burnett at 920-923-8097 or email@example.com to schedule a time to test.
Is there a testing fee?
ACT Residual Test fee is $78 ($43 ACT Exam Fee plus $35 Administration fee). This may be paid by cash, check or money order or credit card. Checks or money orders should be made payable to Marian University. The administration fee must be paid on or before the date of the exam and is non-refundable.

What do I need to bring when I come to take the ACT Residual exam?
Students must bring the following materials:
- A photo ID. (Note: Students will not be allowed to test without a photo ID.
- A calculator (Note: calculators with data storing capabilities will not be allowed).
Scratch paper will be provided.
What if I need testing accommodations?
Examinees needing exam modifications must work directly with ACT to obtain approval. Verification of ACT approved modifications must be submitted prior to the test date. Examinees with disabilities who choose to take ACT without modifications may not petition to re-take the ACT on the basis of disability.
