Session 1 - 11:00am-Noon

Self-Care in Leadership: How to Sustain Your Health and Prevent Burnout  - Hilary Corna - SESSION FILLED

When leaders are passionate and driven, they can often put the needs of others ahead of their own. Over time, this leads to stress, burnout, and feelings of being overwhelmed. In this session, learn about morning routines, evening routines, and life hacks for sustaining your health and preventing chronic illness in college and beyond.

Calm Your Mind & Awaken Your Body through Yoga/Breath Practice – Cheryl Passel - SESSION FILLED

Yoga is an extremely potent agent of transformation, and not simply a form of exercise. The first part of this class will emphasize the poses (asanas) combined with proper breathing (pranayama), inner awareness and alignment.  The second half of the class will focus on slow stretches and a short meditation with the intention of promoting relaxation.

DARE-Dreams Are Reachable Endeavors – Jeneise Briggs, Greg Robinson, Mia McDonald - SESSION FILLED

I've always dreamed of traveling on an airplane when I was a little girl growing up in the rural areas of St. Ann Jamaica. In fact, I used to wave at the airplanes as they jetted across the sky and disappear behind the clouds. What's your dream? Join Dr. Jeneise Briggs and three other panelists as they share their personal journey of transcending boundaries and overcoming barriers that were designed to keep them from achieving their dreams. It is hoped that attendees will leave this session empowered and inspired as they pursue their own passions and dreams.

Are Good Leaders Made or Born?  - Sean Fitzpatrick

Participants will learn about the research surrounding leadership development, with a bit of a focus on sport, but taking many of those lessons to other avenues of leadership.
