TRIO-Student Support Services

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally funded grant program through the U.S. Department of Education. Its purpose is to offer an additional level of support to help college students develop the skills necessary to earn a bachelor's degree. We are funded to serve 140.
While we encourage all students to apply, those selected to be in the program must meet one of the following criteria: be a first-generation student (neither parent earned a bachelor's degree); have a documented physical, physiological or learning disability; or be from a family of limited income (determined by annual federal income guidelines based on family size). At least 2/3 must meet two or more categories.
TRIO-SSS doesn't duplicate other services offered on campus, but rather, works to enhance, support and promote them!
