Meeting Times: monthly, date and time to be determined.

Major events and activities? Our chapter hosts the campus-wide book club, annually attends a convention, and sponsors plays at Marian. We also like to hold pop-up writing workshops around campus.

Why should people join? Sigma Tau Delta is the best place for English majors and minors to get to know others in their field and realize their full career options. Members have opportunities to present and/or publish their original creative or research writing, and they are encouraged to attend readings of poetry and prose together. By participating in book club, members can also get a break from reading heavy textbooks and talk about contemporary, topical literature with others.

Who can join? Potential members need to complete three semesters at Marian, hold a 3.0 GPA overall and in all their English courses, and complete two English courses outside of their required first-year composition classes. Eligible members will be notified.
