Marian University takes the health and wellness of its community seriously. As such, we have policies and procedures in place to help those who may experience problems related to the use of alcohol or other drugs and also to keep the community safe from the effects of that abuse.
It is important for the benefit and safety of the community as well as the individuals involved that Marian University have clear and available procedures in place to respond to situations of alcohol or other drug abuse. These range from educational and/or correctional responses to disciplinary actions.
ASSOCIATED HEALTH RISKS
In an effort to have an informed student and employee community, the university has provided information about the health risks and effects of alcohol and a number of other drugs commonly misused or abused.
There are many resources found both within the university and in the greater Fond du Lac area to help Marian University staff and students who are in need with alcohol or other drug abuse assistance.
