Career Assessments:

When seeking to find the right path toward your dream career it is very important to know as much as you can about yourself.  Although you may feel you have a good sense of self, it is important to really ponder deeply what your strengths, skills, personality, values and interests include before embarking upon choosing a new career.

Career assessments offer one way to get to those more defined answers.  There are several career assessments are available for free to Marian Students.

Strong Interest Inventory, (SII)
The Strong Interest Inventory (SII) is an assessment tool that helps discover your interests, preferences, and personal styles—exactly the information needed when considering careers and selecting a major.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, (MBTI)

The Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is an introspective self-report questionnaire with the purpose of indicating differing psychological preferences in how people perceive the world around them and make decisions. Contact Career Services to schedule an appointment at 920.923.7161.

O*Net Interest Profiler
The O*net Interest Profiler is a free assessment. It can be taken immediately and the results are tied to the Dept. of Labor. Find out what your interests are and how they relate to the world of work. You can find out what you like to do and what kinds of careers you might want to explore.
