How do I get started?
You can always start by making an appointment with a member of the Career Services Center team for assistance. Career Serices is located in A101. To schedule an appointment, log into your Handshake account at: marianuniversity.joinhandshake.com → Career Services tab → Appointments → and follow the prompts to set up an appointment. We can work with you to update your résumé, create a cover letter, practice mock interviews, map out a personal job search strategy, and help you with any additional questions that you may have.
We also have an extensive career library that includes files about potential employers, informational booklets about your chosen field, labor market trends and job postings. You are more than welcome to use our computer lab to do your own job research with our highlighted Web links. Come see what we have to offer; it’s worth the trip!
