Campus Safety and Security Team
In an effort to make the campus safer and more secure, Marian University contracts with Per Mar Securities who patrol campus 24/7, 365 days.  Officers are trained in First Aid, CPR, and use of an AED.  Campus Safety and Security can be reached at 920-923-8950.  Marian has also initiated a campus wide emergency response team consisting of trained campus volunteers, the team supplements the University security and safety efforts by providing low-risk assistance during an emergency.


ALICE is the leading training solution that increases an organization's and individual's odds of survival during a violent intruder event. ALICE, which stands for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate, is a post-Columbine, Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook strategy that goes beyond the conventional lockdown.  Marian University works diligently to train faculty, staff and students in A.L.i.C.E techniques.  ALICE allows the instructor to train participants within Marian on drills and scenarios to those participants who have completed the classroom instruction.


Marian University employs student work study as parking guards.  Students patrol the parking lots between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Anyone needing a temporary or permanent parking pass should contact Michelle Ryan, Administrative Assistant for Student Life at 920-923-8963.
