In today's world, making college affordable is made easier through various forms of financial aid. At Marian, the Office of Financial Aid will work with you to figure out a financial aid plan , whether that be through student loans, scholarships, grants, or work study positions.
At Marian, your education is about your success. Marian University’s Office of Financial Aid is available for students with any questions that may arise about tuition, loans, grants and scholarships. Our experienced staff can assist you in the process of applying and receiving aid, as well as provide information about the variety of options and resources that are available to meet the students’ needs, including student employment. Marian University is committed to helping you pursue an affordable, high-quality college education that is about you.
Scholarships, grants, student employment, and loan programs are available if you apply and are eligible. More than 99 percent of Marian University students receive financial aid, but it is important to apply early. The application process may take four to six weeks and aid is awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.

ALL STUDENTS: Complete the appropriate FAFSA for when you will be attending. Continuing Students: Check your TO DO LIST on MyFinancial Aid to see if you have any other required items that need to be completed. International Students: If you are applying for the Ira A Ridenour Memorial Scholarship you must fill out the International Form and submit it with the scholarship application.
** SUMMER FINANCIAL AID **
*New* for Summer 2019, there is no need for you to fill out a summer financial aid application!
Financial Aid awards will be processed automatically based on data from our Registrar’s Office. You will be notified via your Marian University email address when your award is ready to view in MyFinancial Aid. Financial Aid awards are dependent upon any remaining eligibility you have for the 2018-2019 academic year.
To be considered for Summer 2019 financial aid, make sure you have:
• Filed your 2018-19 FAFSA
• Registered at least half-time for summer: ( Master’s degrees: 3 credits, PhD 3 credits, and Undergraduate students: 6 credits)
• Be classified as a degree-seeking student
If you are classified as “Non-Degree Seeking”, you will not be eligible for federal aid, but are welcome to apply for an alternative loan to cover your summer costs.
