Marian University Endowed Scholarship Application

This application is for endowed and annual scholarships at Marian University. Completed applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Review Committee and recipients will be awarded based on merit, financial need, and timeliness.

​Officer Craig Birkholz Scholarship

Dollar Amount:$3,000 scholarship (up to 2 available)
Due Date: ​June 1, 2026
Criteria:

  • Wisconsin undergraduate student or military veteran enrolled at a Wisconsin college/technical school
  • Major or minor in Police Science or Criminal Justice
  • Completed 30 credits (2-year program) or 60 credits (4-year program)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Submit application, transcript, and personal statement on law enforcement career goals
  • Finalists may be required to participate in an interview

​Rhonda LP Hoffmann (RLPH) Scholarship

Dollar Amount:$3,000 scholarship
Due Date: ​June 6, 2026
Criteria:

  • Full-time undergraduate student enrolled at an eligible college or university
  • Pursuing a degree in art or creative field (fine art, studio art, design, graphic design, art education, art therapy, marketing with creative focus, etc.)
  • Submit application, personal statement, creative portfolio (up to 5 samples), transcript, recommendation letter, and FAFSA financial aid report

Abbott & Fenner Scholarship

Dollar Amount: $1,000
Due Date: June 10, 2026
Criteria:

  • High school junior or senior OR college student
  • U.S. resident
  • Submit 500–1,000 word essay on provided topic

United Parcel Service Scholarship

Dollar Amount: $3,700
Due Date: June 12, 2026
Criteria:

  • Full-time, undergraduate student in the traditional daytime program
  • Continuing Marian student at Sophomore level or higher in 2026-27
  • 3.2 GPA
  • Background should reflect at least one of the following: 1st generation, low-income, minority or new American student
  • Must show financial need

Rath Distinguished Student Scholarship

Dollar Amount: Up to full tuition
Due Date: June 12, 2026
Criteria:

  • Full-time incoming freshman or transfer student for the 2026-27 school year.
  • 3.0 GPA
  • Demonstrate strong campus and/or community leadership
  • US Citizen, Wisconsin resident preferred
  • Financial need is not a requirement, but may be considered

Dollar Amount: $500

Criteria:

  • High school senior or current college student
  • Must be involved in sports or athletics in any capacity
  • Submit short essay on how participation in sports has influenced you

WI Women in Government

Dollar Amount: $4,000
Due Date: June 22, 2026
Criteria:

  • Must be a resident of Wisconsin
  • Identify as female
  • Demonstrate financial need (must receive WI Grant or Pell Grant)
  • 2.0 GPA
  • Demonstrate leadership potential, initiative, and excellent communication skills
  • Have an interest in public service, government, and/or the political process
  • Complete application
  • Two letters of recommendation (forms in application)

Wisconsin Association for Food Protection (WAFP) Scholarships

Dollar Amount: $2,000–$3,000 scholarships (multiple available)
Due Date: June 30, 2026
Criteria:

  • Currently enrolled at a Wisconsin-accredited college or university
  • Studying in a field related to food safety, sanitation, culinary arts, food science, microbiology, or dairy/meat science
  • Submit application, cover letter, resume, transcript, and 1 faculty/advisor recommendation
